Monthly Donors Needed
Because we always offer care packages, SHE Blessings Co. also always has financial needs. To be able to cover the cost of operations, we need people who are willing to give on a regular basis. Our goal is transparency so below is a short breakdown of our different needs:
The Boxes
The cost of an Essentials Box (including the items, and shipping) is about $45 on average (with some fluxuation based on shipping fees). The cost of a Mini Box is about $15. Currently, we send out between 3 and 5 boxes a month.
Shipping Materials
That doesn’t include the shipping materials used in the boxes, nor bulk-purchased items that are included in the boxes (such as the envelopes we put the tea in for the Essentials Box or the baggies we put the necklaces in for the Mini Box).
Marketing Materials
This isn’t going to be what you expect. Marketing materials is just a broad umbrella that covers the cost of any informational materials we send. For example, we include an explanation card in each box, so that the woman recieving the gift understands why we selected each item. This would also cover the costs of stamps and paper for when we send out physical mail.
Other Operational Costs
We also have other operational costs (like paying for a website, for example) that require either monthly or yearly payment. These are the most expensive (but also necessary) elements to our budget. There are a
