What's Your Bouquet?

Stories of Loss

What's Your Bouquet?

An odd question.

What is your bouquet? How would you know?

Your bouquet is filled with the flowers you’ve lost: it is comprised of the birth (or loss) month flowers for each of the babies you have lost.

Maybe your bouquet consists of a single daisy (as it does for our Secretary, Rylee). Maybe your bouquet has five flowers from two months. No matter the make up of your bouquet, it is worth sharing. This is a place for you to share your story—to share about your bouquet.

We welcome all sorts of submissions. Both Rylee and Noel write best when writing poetry, so we understand if your story isn’t a chronological recollection of exactly what happened. On the other hand, it can be so helpful to go back through the events of your loss[es] and explain what happened step-by-step. Tell us your story however it is best for you.

You can submit your story just for us to read or you can choose to share it with everyone (with your name or anonymously). Either way, we hope you do take the time to tell us about your bouquet.
