Everyday Accents Co., Bethany Towery

In Her Own Words
My name is Bethany…I started sewing around the time my frist daughter was born, mostly because I was tired of wearing the same 2 headbands over and over again and thought it would be fun to try and make my own. I soon began selling them and trying my hand at different embroidery and sewing projects. I love making things for my girls, my husband, and adding pretty handmade accents around the house. I think sewing is such a fun avenue to reflect God’s creativity as Creator, and I love being able to sell what I make to share beauty with others and to be able to continue to pursue this creative endeavor.
What We have to Say

We have been incredibly blessed to work with Everyday Accents Co. Bethany has been a gem in every way and has supported our mission from the beginning. She goes above and beyond to create the scrunchies for our Writer's and Tea boxes, oftentimes working late at night, once her girls have gone to sleep.

Her craftsmanship and dedication is what drew us to her. Every single thing she makes is created with care, precision, and joy. She strives to be the best seamstress she can be, for the sake of doing everything unto the Lord. She is generous with her creativity, always looking to bless others in little, ordinary ways (hence her business's name: Everyday Accents Co.).

Amy Cox

In Her Own Words
First and foremost, I am a follower of Jesus! I am also a wife to wonderful Matt and mother of two sweet girls. I work in ministry part-time, enjoy being active in my church, and creating things when I have time to spare. I started embroidering during COVID, hoping to find a way to be creative and productive while at home with a newborn. I started out with a simple pattern, reading tons of Pinterest articles, and watching all the YouTube videos to learn the craft. After a little bit, I found I loved creating small things best. Admittedly, it may be because of a little bit of impatience, but I also love the challenge of working small stitches in a small space. My heart is in making things like necklaces, keychains, and other small items that add just a touch of beauty to your normal day.
What We have to Say

Originally, we asked Bethany to do our embroidered keychains along with making the scrunchies. Because she has so much on her plate, she couldn't take on both projects, but she pointed us to Amy. And Amy is everything we could have asked for and more!

She has been incredibly enthusiastic about SHE Blessings Co. From our first email, she has asked good, hard questions about the purpose and heart behind it. She wanted to be more than a product partner: she wanted to be a prayer partner. She is passionate about loving others, and it comes out with every interaction we have with her. She creates delicate, beautiful birth flower keychains as one of our staple keepsake items.

Emilee Cox

In Her Own Words
I've loved art since I was a child. I started taking art, especially painting, more seriously when I was in high school, which is also when I stared making cards. I would design and paint cards to raise money for mission trips, a hobby that has continued to this day. When creating cards, getting good at calligraphy is usually a must. Calligraphy has become another extension of my creativity.
What We have to Say

We go way back with Emilee. She was one of the first people to know about SHE Blessings Co., and it was an easy, "Yes!" to working together. We have known about her card-making for six years before we started working together. All of her cards are simple but elegant.

She uses her talents to glorify God. She has pushed us to look at what God has given us and to make much of it.
